Up for sale here is a KNIGHT OWL GSO brand 3x ED barlow lens sold by SmartAstronomy that came with a 40mm eyepiece purchase but was only used maybe twice and then stored. I primarily use my scope for imaging so a 3x barlow isn t really needed in my setup. Here s what Smartastronomy has to say about it: Barlow lenses are used to increase the power of any eyepiece. This GSO 1.25 3X ED Barlow uses two element coated lenses and give excellent color correction and sharpness. The eye relief is much better than an eyepiece of the same power would produce. The 1.25 3X ED Barlow has the same Fully Multi-Coated and Edge Blackened optical surfaces as the eyepieces to minimize unwanted reflections, short barrel design, and includes a dust caps.
